GFOA’s 2024 Conference is a great place to catch up with the newest industry trends, develop new opportunities and meet other professionals working in your field. With a variety of engaging keynotes, breakout sessions, networking events and exhibitors’ booths, GFOA Alberta brings you the resources to stay at the forefront of your industry.

Can Non-Members Attend the GFOA Conference?
Definitely! Non-members must purchase a non-member ticket, but may attend all sessions, keynotes and workshops, as well as participate in any additional activities.
Remember, members of GFOA Alberta receive a discount on registration and add-ons, so if you’re considering joining GFOA Alberta in 2024, you’ll save on your registration to the Conference as well as sessions and event during the year!
Can I Bring a Spouse or Partner to the Conference?
Please do! We’re delighted to invite you to bring along your spouse or partner to enjoy the hotel, and all the fun of the Edmonton Fantasyland Shopping Center too! If you’d like to attend the Gala Banquet together, please be sure to purchase the Add-On for the Gala for your Spouse or Partner. The Gala Banquet is already included in the member and Non-member Conference 2024 Pass.
When will the Conference schedule be available?
The Conference Schedule is being created now, and will be available once we have confirmed our speakers and sessions. The event opensSunday June 02, and closes Wed June 05, 2024.
Are Refunds Available if my Plans Change?
We understand that things come up and plans may have to change, so we are happy to make refunds available until April 15, 2024.
After that date you may request a transfer of your registration to another person in your municipality if you know someone who can attend in your place, but refunds will no longer be available for either the Conference or the Gala Dinner.
