About Your Speakers:

Lorraine Walker, Client relationship Partner, BDO

As your client relationship partner, Lorraine will ensure you receive a high level of quality in the services we provide to you. She will provide ongoing client support to address challenges, resolve issues, and bring appropriate resources to the engagement team if needed. She will be your go-to person to access the national network of BDO’s professionals.

Lorraine has over 30 years of audit experience and she is the industry leader for the Not for Profit Public Sector Practice in Alberta. Her clients include municipalities, school divisions, not-for-profit organizations, charities, private foundations, government organizations and First Nations. In addition to her client work, she is a member of BDO Canada’s board of directors and is the Chair of the Women’s Pillar for the firm’s DEIA Council. In addition to this she sits on the board of directors for CPA Alberta’s Education Foundation and a private charity in Calgary.

 

Henrietta Wildeman, Engagement Partner, BDO

Henrietta will be your engagement partner. She will be the main point of contact for the Ministry’s project sponsors and will oversee the planning and leadership for the engagement team.

Henrietta is a Partner and the Accounting and Assurance Technical Leader in Western Canada. She has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Her  responsibilities include advising engagement teams on complex accounting and audit matters and providing firm training on technical matters. She has extensive experience in the application of complex accounting standards to public sector organization including the recent adoption of financial instruments, asset retirement obligations, public private partnerships, and the new revenue standard by our public sector clients.
