Brief Introduction:
Over the past decade many converging social, financial, policy, and technological pressures have increased the complexity of municipal operations. As complexity has increased, so have the demands on the finance function.
This session will explore how Deloitte uses the Four Faces of Finance framework to better articulate how finance leaders spend their time and the investments needed to better align that team with stakeholder objectives.

Darren is a Partner in Deloitte’s Government & Public Services practice based in Edmonton. Darren serves provincial, municipal, and indigenous governments across Western Canada. Darren focuses on working with government leaders to develop the confidence needed in financial information to make great decisions. Darren is a regular speaker on topics such as finance leadership, financial governance, and value-for-money for organizations such as CPA Alberta and GFOA Alberta.
Darren will be joined by additional Deloitte professionals who work with government finance leaders across Canada.
