Class Details

Part One:

  1. Recognize various financial administrative definitions
  2. Compute and interupt the debt limit, debt service limit and the utilization of each for an Alberta municipality
  3. Explain the compnnents of a financial plan for an Alberta municipality

Part Two:

  1. List the Code of Ethics for the GFOA Alberta
  2. Read and interpret, at an introductory to intermediate level, the finacial statements of a Municipality

Part Three:

You will be able to calculate and/or interpret the following:

  1. Amortization
  2. Tangible Capital Assets
  3. Deferred Revenue
  4. Accumulated Surplus
