Northern Sunrise County is a vibrant and action-oriented municipality that is looking for a Director of Finance. This position, will interest you if you enjoy working in an environment that encourages development, fosters growth and looks at the big picture.  This position is based out of the County’s Administration building located at 135 Sunrise Road in the County.

The Director of Finance is responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the Finance Department and its personnel. The Director of Finance is also responsible for all internal and external financial reporting; coordinating short, medium, and long-term budgeting initiatives for the County through the annual operating and capital budgets; the effective and efficient management of the municipality’s financial software systems, including asset management; and for the municipality’s risk management administration.

The successful candidate for the Director of Finance position will have a minimum of 8-10 years’ financial experience (preferably in local government) and a CPA accounting designation. The salary for this position starts at $121,547. The County provides attractive benefits and pension programs, as well as a good vacation package.
